SYRTICA, Leptis Magna. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ “As” (7.18 g, 7h). Bare head right / LPQY in neo-Punic in exergue, capricorn to left, holding globe; filleted cornucopia over right shoulder. RPC I 845.5 (this coin); MAA 15; Müller, Afrique 17; SNG Copenhagen 15. VF, dark green patina with area of brown on reverse. Extremely rare.
